Object + be + past participle

Object + am / is / are + past participle

Example: Apple products are used in millions of homes.

Object + was / were + past participle

Example: The first Apple laptops were produced in 1999.

Use used to for a past habit or past situation that is not true now.

used to + base verb = past habit, not true now
